Janon commented about Mary Balogh's "Simply" series. I was behind the 8-Ball and had never read any of hers - so I started w/Simply Perfect - which is supposed to be the last in the series (?). I just loved it - so sweet, so heart-felt. My only complaint was that a couple of the characters (villians, if you will) were a little too stereo-typical nasty - but that's only a very minor criticism. The courage of the heroine, the sweetness and integrity of the hero, the setting, the development of the love story - it was "Simply Perfect"! [okay - sorry - that was cheesy - LOL!]

I am going back in time with my reading right now.
I found a few of Heather Graham's older and slightly newer novels and I have been reading them. I just finished Drop Dead Gorgeous and Tall Dark and Deadly and have started Picture Me Dead. I am loving them! Of Course I adore Heather Graham's writing style.

Right now I am in between books. I about to start reading No Rest for the Wicked by Kresley Cole.

In this last week I have read: Lost Souls by Lisa Jackson, Sizzle and Burn By Jayne Ann Krentz, Blood Dreams by Kay Hooper, Pandora's Daughter by Iris Johansen and The Dead Room By Heather Graham.

As you can see I am a insomniac speed reader with little else to do since my TV died a quick and peaceful death.:)

I'm reading Shifter. An anthology by Angela Knight, Lora Leigh, Allyssa Day, and Virgina Kantra. Just finished the newest Amelia Peabody, Tomb of the Golden Bird, by Elizabeth Peters. It was a little slower than normal. Very good though.

I'm rereading Laurell K. Hamilton series on Anita Blake. I love her and I reread everyone before a new one comes out.

I just finished Where the Heart Leads by Stephanie Laurens and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. Next up is Cosmic Sex by Karen Kelley. My tbr pile is way too large to list and I'm sure they are mass producing as I type.

"Lord of the fading lands" by CL Wilson & just bought the sequel Lady of light & shadows". Oh Joy!! Highly recommend this series for those who like Romantic Fantasy.

i just finished shannon mckenna's "extreme danger." it had quite an interesting, suspenseful plot, and it was very hot. the hero, nick, was a typical anti-hero. warning - some of the plot is a little disturbing but it's part of the suspense.

I'm reading DEEP MAGIC and THE CLIFF HOUSE STRANGLER! I'm loving both.

I just finished Predatory Game by Christine Feehan. I liked it but I wish she would get back to Ryland's team.

Just finished Susan Elizabeth Phillips 'Kiss An Angel'. Love her books, she's always on top of my TBR pile.

I am reading First, There is a River by Kathy Steffen. Kathy is a new author for me. It is really good though and I will probably look for other books by her. It is one I would recommend to someone to read.

I just started THE DREAM THIEF by Shana Abe. I read The Smoke Thief by her a couple of years ago and loved it. This one looks like I will have it read in a day too!!!

I have just finished Dark Thirst and have just started Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh. I just love her books and they go straight to the top of the TBR pile. I have far too many books in my TBR to even begin mentioning but I'm sure those books are multiplying on their own.

I'm almost finish with The Scent of Shadows, the debut by Vicki Pettersson. It's more of a heroine-kicks-butt story rather than romance, but there is some heartbreak. It's a page-turner, and I highly recommend it. The second in the series is The Taste of Night.

I just read blood brothers by Nora Roberts.
it's the first of a trilogy. the next one doesn't come out till may!

I just finished Elizabeth's Berg's Open House and really enjoyed it. I'm also reading Rita books as a judge, but I can't tell anyone which books they are because it's confidential. I will say that I read one that I couldn't put down. It really stayed with me, and I hope it finals.
