Time Travel Romance > Has anyone else noticed a trend?
I have also noticed this. Perhaps these time travels appeal to the historical romance lover? I know I've read some great time travels usually where the heroine goes back in time. There was a really good Virginia Henley time travel, does anyone remember the name of it? I'd like to re-read it I think!

I love the highlander setting. I think when the author uses the brog it makes the story more real. I loved all the Karen Marie Moning series, also I have just finished the series by Janet Chapman. another good one is Feather.

Paulie - thanks for the head up on Feather's highlander books. I didn't know she had any books on highlanders. I am a big highlander fan, I have read all of KMM books (LOVE THEM) and Janet Chapman's. Have you read any of Melissa Mayhue? She has 2 highlander books out there, with one on the way.

Monica McCarthy also has a Highlander trilogy. I read these last month and really enjoyed them.

I am sick of the time travels that go to the Highlands. I am wanting some more that the heroine goes back in time to pre Civil War or during the Civil War here in America. Or the American Revolution or Egypt or the 1900s America. Or a good pirate time travel too. Or one about Jack the Ripper in London. I collect as many of you all probably do and these ones are hard get now a days and all the new ones are mostly about highlanders which are ok but I want others too. Janean

Personally, I love books that are set in Scottish Highlands. It is something about that setting that makes me think of the big ripped man that has that wonderful accent that just turns me into a puddle. And If that's not enough for you the descriptions of the beautiful setting that Scotland has to offer is wonderful. It is the one place that I have not been able to go to and my husband said there is no way that we are ever going because he thinks that odds are I will fall for the first one that opens his mouth and hubby will go home alone. What he hasn't figured out is that unless Sean Connery shows up on the doorstep I am staying put accent or not:)
