Janon, 36 yrs old, born and raised in Brighton, CO, married to Doug 15 yrs ago this summer. We have 4 kids, 2 girls ages 12 and 5, and 2 boys ages 9 and a 1 yr old baby. I have worked at a bank for more than 17 yrs in the business banking department. I spend most of my spring and summers at baseball fields watching my two oldest kids play baseball and softball. My husband all plays a lot of softball. I read 1 book every 3 days, and I prefer, historical romance, paranormal romance, and time travel romance. Some of the authors that I have on my keeper shelf of books are Brenda Joyce, Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Julie Garwood, Charlaine Harris, Karen Marie Moning and Janet Evanovich. My list of favorite authors is VERY long, those are just a few.

I live in Queensland, Australia. I think the weather here is perfect and whenever I go away the best thing to do is come home again. Queensland is located to the north of Australia (about a one hour flight from Sydney). Here we’re anywhere from 14 to 17 hours ahead of the USA in terms of time.
During the day, I am a school teacher and my students range in age from 10 years to 17 years old. Why the range? I teach a specialist subject which means during the week I can teach up to 270 students. Trying to remember their names is sometimes a job in itself!
In the evening, I have my walk and I like to read, and whatever else I have time to do such as meeting friends.
I like to read mainly Historical Romance but over the years have been persuaded to read in other genre. I enjoy Paranormal but not if it is too gory, I read some Contemporary and the occasional Romantic Suspense; again as long as there is too much detail that I can’t sleep at night! I have been enticed into reading Erotica by some of my friends.
My other great passion, I guess you would call it, is travel. As I pass the airport on the way to work, I like to watch the planes landing and taking off and thinking about my next destination. I have been to many places but still have so many to visit. Some of these include USA, England, France, Italy, Denmark, Malaysia, Thailand and even Morocco and St Petersburg in Russia.
