Hi Tina - about your book. What about Romantic Suspense? Is it pretty intense? If you don't think supspense, maybe just contemp romance if it has a happily ever after ending? J

Thanks Janon. No, it definitely does not have a "happily ever after" ending. Well, at least not for the cheating husband and his mistress.:)

Tina - I guess I'm not sure what category to market your book in. I was thinking maybe Romantic Suspense, but now I'm not sure. I pretty much only read Historical Romance, Paranormal and urban fantasy, so my experience with other book categories is limited. What do you think it should be under? J

I was thinking romantic suspense, but since the "romance" isnt between my main character (only anger and revenge)and the other characters I'm not all that sure. I may have to go with drama?

Tina, I was on the RWA website the other day looking at the RITA winners for last year. I came across a page on there that has "Catagories Descriptions" on it. If it is a romance, you might find a catagory on there to label it as.
Hope it helps.

A detective's wife goes undercover to unearth her sleazy husband's cheating past. Pretending to be him, she reconnects with his former lover and "rekindles" their 20 year old flame. To her surprise, the woman, who had come along at the twilight of their marriage, had stolen a whole lot more than a few romantic encounters with her tall, dark and handsome husband. And now she wasn't just raging mad, she was going to get even.
